Dr Nikhil Mehta
Principal Dentist
Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours), Postgraduate Diploma (Implants)  

Dr Nick Mehta or ‘Nick’, as he is known to his patients, graduated, with the university medal, from Manipal University in 2004. Together with his wife, Dr Radhika Bhatla, they commute between their other practice, Artarmon Dentists, which they have owned since 2013.

Nick Mehta is passionate about providing his patients with exceptional dental care and takes great pride in investing time in listening to their needs and alleviating their anxiety. He takes special interest in restoring smiles and has completed a Post Grad Dip in Implant Surgery from Loma Linda University and a clinical residency in Prosthodontics.

Being an early adopter of technology, he has been delivering 3D CAD-CAM single visit crowns/Implants for over 10yrs. He is passionate about giving his patients the best.

In his down time Nick is a lover of great coffee and will happily drive to pick up his favourite roast.

Dr Radhika Bhatla
Bachelor of Dental Science, Postgraduate Diploma (Orthodontics)

Dr Radhika Bhatla began her career in Bowral and Camden, then joined Artarmon Dentists along with her husband Nick in 2013 after which they decided to move to Artarmon and start a family. They are excited to add a new adventure to their already busy lives joining us here at Kariong Dental Care where they bring their knowledge and expertise.

Dr Radhika Bhatla loves working with patients seeking all kinds of care and has a particular interest in endodontics and orthodontics as well as general and children’s dentistry. She is currently an accredited Invisalign and Clear Correct Provider. She has completed further education and training in orthodontics under the acclaimed Dr. Mahony and is completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics.

One thing her patients always tell her is that she gives “painless injections.”

Outside of the Practice Radhika’s love of travelling is what got her to Australia, and she continues to visit other countries around the world when she is able. She has done plenty of volunteer work overseas involving dentistry and looks forward to embarking on her next quest soon.

Dr Radhika Bhatla is also a passionate pianist, recently having begun taking lessons alongside her daughter.

Dr Nisheeth Agrawal
Principal Dentist
Bachelor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Nisheeth is a General Dentist with nearly 10 years’ experience in a mix of both public and private practices in Hunter Region in NSW, most of which have been spent in Newcastle alone.

He is involved in all areas of dentistry, and has special interest in Wisdom tooth Surgeries, Dentures and Full Mouth Rehabilitation. Using the most advanced technology, Dr. Nisheeth has successfully performed a wide range of surgical and non-surgical dental procedures.

To keep up to date with the latest developments he has belonged to various study groups and attends seminars on most aspects of dentistry.

He is a gentle, compassionate and experienced clinician who is committed to improving the oral health of all his current and future patients. He also has a great sense of humour which patients pick instantly. With Dr. Nisheeth around you rarely feel anxious.

Outside dentistry he is a complete cricket junkie. And as a father enjoys spending quality time with his kids.

Dr John Woo
University of Queensland
Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours 

Dr John Woo completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Queensland. He understands how stressful going to a dental practice can be. He is dedicated to making sure his patients feel at ease when visiting the dentist.

Dr John enjoys all aspects of dentistry and ensures he is up-to-date with the latest technological developments. He is also a member of the Australian Dental Association. In his spare time, John enjoys playing soccer, going on hikes and taking care of his cat.

Dr Troy Movsessian
Bachelor of Dental Science

Dr Troy like most people wasn't the biggest fan of visiting the dentist growing up so he understands why new patients sometimes feel this way - especially when they are in pain. His priority is to make sure your dental experience is a positive one where the best ways to address your needs are explored. He understands that it sometimes can be a stressful time for and goes the extra distance to put his patients at ease.

Dr Troy has been living and practicing on the Central Coast since 2017. He adopted a puppy from Erina pound in 2019 and spends most of his spare time taking this high energy fur baby for off leash runs at Kariong Dog Park and Umina Beach with his wife and daughter.

Prior to becoming a dentist Dr Troy had a strong interest in sports and obtained a degree in Exercise Science. He spent several years coaching and representing NSW in volleyball.

It’s official! We are now on Level 1 restrictions for dentistry.

Which means, as long as you have not been in a COVID-19 risk situation and don’t have a cold or flu symptoms we can provide all your regular dental treatments.

This includes examinations, checkup and cleans, restorative procedures such as replacing missing or damaged teeth, crowns, bridges, dentures and implants, orthodontic treatment, fillings, cosmetic veneers, extractions and preventative procedures.

We will continue to provide you with the safe, high-quality dental care you can trust. We are fully equipped to offer this crucial service with full compliance with Government sanctions in dealing with the Coronavirus.

Here is how we will take additional steps to keep you safe:

  • Upon arrival at your appointment you will notify us you have arrived and we will notify you when you can enter the practice safely avoiding all waiting room contact.
  • The practice will continue to be fully sanitised to ensure your safety.

Good oral health is closely linked to good overall health, so if you have not seen us for a while, then now is a perfect time. Plus, it’s always nice to have that clean mouth feeling.
